Happy Monday everyone~! It's going to be a busy week for me with 3 doctor & 1 dentist appointment and 2 of my kids are taking their written drivers license test-My husband AND my brother both have birthdays this week (1 day apart)~AND last but not least Salmon Days are this weekend in Issaquah. If you live in or near Washington you might want to come over to Issaquah for this wonderful free admission event Oct 4 & 5th. The salmon are running and they are a sight to see! There will be craft & food booths, a parade, live entertainment and a 5 &10 k fun run~There will even be a "field of fun" for the kids this year which includes pony rides, puppet theater, rope-a-phobia, weird science experiments, the Kid's Stage, dressing up as animals, a Kid's Carnival, mini-trains, and more. Hope to see you there!

ReplyDeleteThis salmon festival sounds fun. My husband would love that. That is an amazing picture. I am always so fascinated at the life of a salmon. They sure sacrifice a lot in the name of spawning. They are really an interesting and mighty good tasting fish. :) Have a great week Robin.

Wow, what a busy week. I've seen the salmon going up to spawn here in Michigan & it is quite a sight. My husband loves to salmon fish. Alot of people don't know that after they spawn, then they die. So sad. Have a fun weekend.

Wow, two new drivers at your house. Insurance must be a fortune for you. ;-) When we lived in Washington state we missed out on the Salmon Days. ReplyDeleteGuess where I am right now? In Coeur d'Alene!!!! We stayed a day in Boise and decided to drive up here. We're driving around looking at houses tomorrow around Hayden Lake and Post Falls, then Wednesday will have to drive back to Boise. Thursday we'll be getting back into the car again and driving to Salt Lake City, where we'll fly out of on Friday morning.
Told you I'd let you know when we were close by, but I didn't think it would be this soon!
