What Do You Want For Christmas?

If you could have anything (money not being an object) for Christmas what would it be? Here are some of my friends answers~

"Sweet Pickles" said she would love to take her family on a trip to Disneyland for a whole week.

A "Fabulous" friend said she would love to have a personal trainer to help her get in shape.

A certain somebody who is as "cute as a button" would love to have more TIME!

A "noble" friend would like some Elf help around her house.

This girl just wants WORLD PEACE :)

AND as for me... I would love to have a housekeeper and a chef for the months of November and December...

What about you? What would you ask Santa for?

  1. I love this post. You are so funny. Anything for Christmas! I am with miss congeniality! But if I was to pick one thing for me ... it would be a soft warm pair of Pajamas. m

  3. I did the Disneyland for Christmas one year a few years ago. The kids loved it, but by the end of the week I wanted to blow my brains out.
This year, I was a personal housekeeper, and for my kids to be nice instead of naughty.

  5. I'd love an addition built onto my small but cozy home. A good sized family room would be nice :0).

  6. My basement finished so that when the kids are playing with all their new noisy toys, I can say "Go to the basement, and they really will."

Or world peace. Whichever is easier. I'm not picky.

  7. Oh... I would've loved to have a year (or two ;-)) off from work, and just BE... and travel.. maybe meet all of you! And just do everything that I never get to do!

  8. Boy, that's a tough one! Since Brittany will be graduating next year, I'd love for us all to be able to take a trip this winter to see some snow. We love to play in the snow, but snow here in GA. is a rarity. If we do get some, it's usually only a dusting. I'd love to stay in a cozy cabin tucked in the mountains of TN. or NC. What fun we'd have!!

  12. For some reason, today I'm feeling overly noble so I would say clean water for the world or education for anyone who wants it. But normally it would be something like Texas Longhorn bread and butter jalapeno dip, some cream cheese and a bag of pretzels in front of crackling fire with family around and a clean house.

  13. I think I would like a semi trailer filled with rocks! I need enough crab orchard stone to do my great room and entry. I need some boulders for landscaping including enough for a waterfall. I need some stepping stones for my front walkway, some granite for my counter tops, some marble for my window sills..... Dear Santa, please bring me rocks!

  16. A new car definately. Mine is not very well at the moment. It's making some very strange noises. I am waiting to a mechanic to take a look at it.

  17. What a great idea! I think I'll shoot for the trickle-down theory and ask for an end to our country's current economic problems...then maybe we'll all be able to relax and de-stress, not having to worry about whether we'll have a job next week, how we're going to make the mortgage or rent payment, or if we'll have enough money for groceries.

Times are tough for everyone right now, and my wish is for those problems to disappear.

  19. I'm always asking for more time! :O)
I'm pretty content with what I have. I have some needs- some small repairs around the house.
But as far as wants go... peace, calmness/tranquility, harmony, and TIME!

    Great post!

  21. This is so selfish, but right now I would love a little bit of better health. But, there are so many others that could use that too. So I would say health for those in need. Such fun Robin.

  22. It feels wrong to ask for something big, but since it's all in fun and I am not actually going to get it...
I would want to add on to our house. We could really use another bedroom (6 kids, three bedrooms total) and a second bathroom.
Of course, I would be pretty happy with some comfy slippers too.

  27. I have taken over most of the house with my crafting so I guess I would ask for a huge finished room with computer, tv, music, lots of shelves, closet, etc. where I could & weave baskets & then when I was finished I could wave a wand & the mess would be gone. What a fun post! Happy Thanksgiving, Robin.

    blessings,

  33. So much to pick from, but here is my plain and simple Christmas Wish. If you see Santa please pass this one....

I'd like my business to sell. i'd like to leave this area and move to Texas and buy a simple home where I could be a stay at home mom and live simply. I would have time to learn how to sew my own clothes and make life pure simplicity. Please talk to Santa. we just need a seller

  36. I would want my Mommy to get a new house. She has a little house and every time she comes to my house she says she would love a new one like this. Now my Daddy, well, he likes OLD houses, and he hates NEW houses because they are usually built on farmland. That is what I would wish for if I could have anything. I always love coming to this blog!

  37. Robin, I totally agree with you about the housekeeper, I was just thinking about that yesterday even, as I was putting up decorations and making a mess all over. It's a lot of work, I didn't put up even half my stuff, but I still have plenty, how was your Thanksgiving? Ours was great, I had 2 out my 3 sons here and my sis and fam. BTW, I still haven't received my stocking yet and it's been 12 days, she did e-mail me saying she got mine. That's really all I care about, I just want to do what I should do. Hope you can get all of your work and stuff done with very little stress. LOL Hugs, Tracey
