~Thanksgiving 2008~
Here is a photo of my Mom, my Grandmother Geer and Me~♥ I'm very excited because this month my daughter will be giving birth to her daughter Noel Grace. Come springtime we will all get together and have a photo taken of 5 generations of Geer girls.
For those of you asking about the chalkboard post below: My Mom did a real quick rough draft as she was walking out the door, I did the rest ~Who knows what New Years will hold for Mr. Chalkboard. :)
I hope you don't find this offensive, but you look so young to be a grandmother! It is a lovely portrait of the three of you.
ReplyDeleteHi Mama Tina-Thank you, I don't find that offensive at all! :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful picture of all of you! You should definitely frame it and send copies to your Mom and Grandmother.:) I'll be writing to you in just a bit, Sweetie! Lori
ReplyDeleteHey Aunt Robin~
ReplyDeleteWhat a great Picture! I can't wait to see a picture of baby Noel..Hey maybe she will be the first baby born 1/1/09??
What a beautiful picture! You DO look so young. I really thought that was your daughter in the picture last night in front of the chalkboard but remembered she was pregnant. WOW!
ReplyDeleteWow that is one beautiful photo. I can't believe you're going to be a "Nana" soon. You must be so excited. Just wait...you are in for the thrill of your life. : )
ReplyDeleteRachel:
ReplyDeleteIf Ronnie doesn't have Noel before Christmas she will be induced the day after Chrismas...But who knows maybe they will decide not to induce her and she could have the baby on the first~♥ Her doctor is some kind of wonderful and said she would have no problem even delivering Noel even on Christmas day if Noel decides it's time!
Sue: You are so sweet♥ Thank-you.

ReplyDeleteTry again... i would hate to miss your message! i love your emails!!!!!
Awesome that they'll be 5 generations! When I was born there were 5 generations, too! I have a photo that I keep on my dresser.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your kind words on the loss of my Grandpa. Love, Amy
I love that you'll be able to do a 5 generation picture! My great grandma died when I was pregnant with my 1st baby, so we never got a 5 generation picture. It makes me sad, but we've had 4 generation pics with all of my kids.
ReplyDeleteSuch beautiful women. Congratulations on the impending birth of your grandaughter. You don't look nearly old enough to have a granddaughter but seeing the pic of your Mom and Grandma it's clear to see you have a genetic advantage in the aging slowly department.
ReplyDeleteHi Robyn, Great picture! You are a pretty bunch of ladies! And how exciting, waiting for the birth of your first grandaughter! Congrats! Beautiful name, too...Noel Grace! ~hugs, Rhonda :)
ReplyDeleteI am so excited about your new grandbaby : ). I wish I lived closer to you so I could take the picture for you : ). Your family looks beautiful. Grandmothers are my favorite kind of people on the planet!
