Dear Friends,
I have decided last minute (yesterday) to go on the mountain hiking trip with my husband and son! I know, I know...CRAZY~!!! It's a ten mile hike straight up the mountain. We pack EVERYTHING in and pack it back out the next Friday. I've been training for this trek for some time but bailed on it about a month ago when I didn't think I was going to be able to do it. I will be praying for you all while hiking...Please do me a favorite and pray for me too. Pray that the bee's that I'm deathly allergic to stay away from me. I do carry a life saving kit if a bee stings me but getting stung would end our trip. I know this for I have been stung 4 times in my life-It's a horrible experience! Cell phones and computers don't work up there so I will write when I get back Saturday morning.
When I get back I will have a photo of ME and my guys at the top of this peak!
Above photo is of my husband Tim, below is my son Tim~♥
Have a great week everyone!
Quit shaking your head in disbelief Lori, and get the smile off your face Kimberly-I know you wanted me to go! (Love you guys!)
We are leaving at 4 in the morning so off to bed I go! Night everyone!

ReplyDeleteTen-mile hiking trip??? I am totally impressed! Stay safe, my friend...I'll be praying for you all! Can't wait to hear all about it...those pictures are amazing!
ReplyDeleteHi Robin
ReplyDeleteI will pray that your hike goes well and the bees stay away from you. I love the idea of doing a hike like that, it looks so beautiful. Sadly I do not think I have the stamina but maybe one day. Luckily I have never been stung by a bee but a few years back we had a bees nest in our loft. I felt so uneasy that I could hardly sleep until someone could come and remove it!
Looking forward to your pictures.

ReplyDeleteRobin...I thought I had your email address but I couldn't find it! Anderson loves Tap Out and the best price we have found are at ROSS. Usually there are a few T-shirt stores in the mall that carry them, often the sporting stores will have a section of Tap Out. At the mall they are about $20-25 while at ROSS we pay from $6.99-$12.99. :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you made it back safe and sound!!
