Hi ladies~I decided to show you myself (yes, it's me in the video) how to make a easy floral bow. These are great to top gifts or to add to your floral designs. You can even make these bows real large to put on top of your Christmas trees. I bought the sheer wire edged ribbon shown in the video at Target. For beginners I would always recommend the wire edged ribbon. Don't give up if your first or second or even third bow isn't perfect-It takes a little practice. When I first opened my floral shop (The Robin's Nest) I had to practice and practice to get it right (we didn't use wired ribbon back then) -Hopefully this video will make it much easier for you!
I'm going to start practicing -- have always wanted to make my own bows! Thanks for the info!

ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to learn how to make bows myself! I went out several years ago and purchased a Bow Maker and my bows didn't turn out too great. I am definitely going to give this a try, Robin! I think I can do it! Thanks a BUNCH!
ReplyDeleteNot only did I learn to make really pretty bows, but it was so nice to hear your voice for the first time! I have always had trouble making bows, I think I will try your way next time.

ReplyDeleteThat was wonderful Robin!! I had learned something similiar but that last step of putting the wire under the fingers in the back made it MUCH better for tying off! Thanks for that great tip.

I remember last year when we were waiting for you and Wendy to tell us you had your grandbabies! What blessings we each have this Christmas!!!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the awesome tutorial!!! I make bows frequently, but they never come out just right. I love the trick of twisting the ribbon. Perfect! Can't wait to try one.
