  4. Darlene: Yes, I took that hummingbird photo from my bedroom. I have about 4-6 hummers that stay year round even if it snows. This one is the king of the feeder-I noticed since it has gotten colder he is letting the ladies come feed without running them off.

    What little miracles they are.

DaBergs: All is well, thank you~God is great!
I pray things settle down over there in California for you guys.

Wendy: That is so neat you guys are having the baby shower already! My daughter is doing very well, thank you for asking...Baby is adorable(her last 3-d ultrasound photo-so cute!) ~♥

  21. The Berry Patch:
How do I get close ups? I have been around these birds feeding and taking care of them so much that they are just used to me being close to them. I have had one land on my hat and have even had a few perch on my finger to drink their food. My hummingbirds are very spoiled. I only used C & H PURE cane sugar when making their food and plant flowers that hummingbirds love in my garden and around my house. I have a really bright red one that I'm hoping to get a shot of for Christmas. He isn't one to pose for very long! Sometimes it takes me hours just to get one shot. But it's something I really enjoy doing.
