Ask & Ye Shall Receive...

My husband is the kind of guy that can and will make anything for me. I just tell him what I need and off he goes out into his garage. After hearing saws buzzing and a hammer pounding he always brings me something in that is beyond my expectations~♥ I asked him if he would make me a large chalkboard for my kitchen like I have seen in magazines and on my "little Sis" Lori's blog~This is what he made me... I love it babe, thank you.

  17. Awesome...
I keep thinking about painting chalk boards on the door to the boys' room, but I worry about them getting hit by the door when someone opens it.

  37. Wow- that is one LARGE chalkboard (is your husband an oldest child/overachiever type?! Or maybe he just loves you to bits!!!!!)
It looks really great, so versatile. Messages, menus, recipes... better not put a "honey-do" list on there, or he may be sorry he made it!
Love the festive wintry drawing on there too- bet you'll have a hard time erasing it once the season's over :)

  38. Robin,

Read your blog and was curious, do you have Geer family from Georgia? Geer is my married name and spelled the same way.

I would have emailed you instead of commenting but did not see an email address for you.
