that is such a cute picture! i love hummingbirds!!! and i hope you have a good weekend too! we are going to take a break from kitchen renovation and go to a water park tomorrow!! :)
You and your hummingbird picture captures put mine to shame.....
I keep trying though. I'm trying to figure out where to put some sticks so they will perch. Heck, I never even knew they would perch on the feeder until you showed pictures with them doing that. Since then, I have only bought feeders that have perches on them. Thanks so much Robin and I hope you have a WONDERFUL weekend!♥
Those little hummers are hard to photograph and yours is so clear and vivid. Where I live they come through the area around mid August and you have to be very watchful to catch the little buggers. Wishing you a great weekend too!
You too Robin! I was sidelined with a tummy virus yesterday - really knocked me donw so today I have been recuperating. Luckily my iPad came this morning! Perfect timing and I love it! Since you use your iPod so much you'll find this a breeze! Hurry up August!
WOW, I love this picture! Our cuties seem to dash in and out so fast...hyper on all that sweet nectar. I am going to try placing twigs and see if ours will stay a while. I am proud of you going and staying off coke! I still have an ice cold one left here in our fridge following dad's funeral and I am not even tempted! YEAH!
I need secrets to attract my hummers. I have had the feeder out for a month or so now but no luck yet. I put it away from my birdfeeder so the bigger aggressive birds would not chase the hummers off! Any suggestions for me?? I live in Oklahoma so I am not sure if it is a climate thing. it is really HOT here right now. Thanks and I am a tea snob...haha I saw your post below!!!
