We had company visiting us all last week from California~ One of the places I took them was Dash Point to see the sand dollars on the beach. There were thousands of sand dollars there (Seriously there were.) ~ Here are a few pics I took:
I love the detail on this one.
Here is a live furry one digging deep into the sand to protect itself from the hot sun.
Upside down in the water.
Hanging out at the watering hole.
Many different colors.
If you are ever in the greater Seattle area and want to visit Dash Point click HERE for directions.
Whoa, those pictures are so neat! If I happen to be in the area one day I will totally have to stop by this beach to see all the sand dollars. My kids would enjoy seeing them too!
ReplyDeleteAmazingly gorgeous, Robin. Please take me one day, OK? I would love to see the sand dollars. Are their tidal pools at that beach? I have never seen tidal pools and have always wanted to explore some! Lovely.... You have such an eye for beauty, Sis! Lori
