♫Simply because Tim's near me... La, la, la, la laaa laaa ♫
I know, I know, I'm a dorkfish. But I wanted to let you ladies know I have Valentines day crafts on my mind. Don't you? In the next few weeks I hope to be posting some fun crafts to make for yourself or your loved ones. I say hope because we all know how my 25 days of Christmas went! My brother called it the 7 days of Christmas-Ha! No excuses, thank God life happens!
The photo above is so special to me and reminds me of Valentines day. It was two years ago that I had to go gluten free (no flour, rye, barley or oats for me) The one thing I missed sooo much is pizza. That was until my daughter Ronnie made this gluten free pizza for me with Ian's pizza kit-It is FABULOUS! She was so sweet to make it into a heart shape. Whenever Ronnie bakes anything for the family she will also make something gluten free for me~So Sweet. Thanks Ronnie, I love you!
So off to the craft store I go-To buy a quilling tool... I'll explain later! :) Happy Day!
What a fun pizza...perfect for Valentines..you are right!

Hi Robin
ReplyDeleteI would miss pizza too. We usually have it for a treat on a Saturday evening! Glad Ronnie managed to make you one.
I look forward to your valentine crafts. I have had a go at quilling. I wasn't very good!
Thanks for your e-mail. I will reply this weekend. We now have 10 inches of snow and our schools have been open! Getting there has been hard. Our temperature could drop tonight to minus 11. Can you believe that?

Oh, that is so sweet of your daughter! I bet that made your heart skip a beat. Living without ptzza would be a tough one for me. I'm anxious about your Valentine's Day crafts...you never disappoint! Have a wonderful evening, Robin!

No pizza. Oh wow. I could eat a good pizza everyday I think and not get tired of it.
ReplyDeleteI would definitely miss pizza...thank goodness Ronnie found one for you and the heart is just perfect!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see what you make for Valentine's Day!!♥
What a great pizza Robin. Ronnie is wonderful to make it for you-what a fun picture it makes too!
ReplyDeleteOoh, ooh! Crafts and pizza! ;o)
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried Ian's pizza kit yet. I really love Gluten Free Mama's pizza crust kit (if you are making it yourself). and I just discovered today a wonderful frozen gluten free pizza by Glutino. It was their bbq chicken pizza. Oh my gosh, you would never know it was gluten free! i reviewed that on on my blog today :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going to check out Ian's! thank you for sharing!
You are not a DORKFISH just a bunch of love birds! I loved that your son would say that.
ReplyDeleteI feel the same after 38.5 years...♥
How wonderful for Ronnie to to always make you feel so special and make something you can eat. It looked yummy and full of love. I am looking forward to seeing your fun Valentine crafts.:-)

Your craft impaired sister here is looking forward to seeing what you inspire. Boy, I love that pizza. I love Tim too because he takes such good care of you!
ReplyDeleteOh, that pizza looks delish!! I may be a little hungry right now...
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet girl you have-I love having Lilly for a little girl, but I look forward to the day that we can do even more fun stuff together, other than cleaning bathrooms. Really, she wanted to clean the toilets with me today. Crazy girl!!
Hope you have a great weekend, Big Sis and bring on the Lovey day crafts!!
Elise
That pizza looks awesome. Can't wait to see what Valentine's crafts you have up your sleeve.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet daughter you have!! But then you knew that, right?
ReplyDeleteI just gave my quilling tool and supplies to a friends daughter. Looking forward to see what you are up to!!
I wanted to let you know that my natural food store had the Ian's pizza kit in stock tonight when I stopped in to pick up a couple things. I ended up picking that up too so I'll let you know when I try it!
ReplyDeleteYou my friend are a hoot and always bring a smile to my face!
ReplyDeleteThat pizza really does look good. Pizza is one of my favorite foods, I'm glad you haven't had to give it up completely.
ReplyDeleteAnd what in the world are you doing with quilling tools?? Can't wait to see....
i just read the comment you left me about my sister running the marathon. that is so awesome about you and your hubby finishing together! i hope she grabs something to eat/drink during the race. i can't imagine eating something. do you stop and take a break? i thought you just ran the whole time without stopping at all other than to walk if needed. it's only supposed to be like 45 down there tomorrow. brr.. lol.
ReplyDeleteGood lookin' pizza! Sounds like a great getaway, too.
ReplyDeleteI haven't been by in awhile but I do enjoy following.
that is so awesome! thank you for filling me in on what it's going to be like for her tomorrow. now i kinda feel like i'm there too :)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you were able to enjoy a tasty pizza!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see your Valentines Day ideas. I love Valentines Day. Growing up my family celebrated the day together and my parents went out to dinner the following weekend. My sister and I enjoyed the tradition so much we are continuing it as we raise our own children.
Blessings,
~Christine
Ok, so I got two text messages this morning so far. the first says: 10 mile in 1:54:51. pace: 11:29. predicted: 5:01:07. then the 2nd one said Half in 2:30:00. Pace: 11:26. Predicted: 5:00:00. does that mean she's maintaining an average 11:something mile? and is projected to finish in 5 hours?
ReplyDeleteok final stats! My sister just finished! I was on the phone with my mom when she crossed the finish line so I got to hear the cheers! Her stats: time completed 5 hours 10 minutes and 22 seconds. Average mile ran at 11 minutes 50 seconds! Her goal was to finish in 5 1/2 hours and to keep her miles at 12 minutes. So she beat her goal!
ReplyDeleteOh fun!! My BFF has celiac, so I have to think gluten free for her too..
ReplyDeleteHi Robin, Can't wait to see what you have "cooking" for Valentines...no pun intended! LOL! Cute pizza and how thoughtful of your daughter to find a pizza to fit your dietary needs! ~hugs, Rhonda :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this! I have two friends recently diagnosed with Celiac disease and MAN it's tough for them. Such a change. The pizza does look great.
ReplyDeleteI'll be checking back for your Valentines ideas!
